Pointe
Royale’s golf course is a challenging 18-hole, 6,067
yard par 70 course and is regarded as the original
championship course in the Branson area. The course,
designed by Ault-Clark and Associates, features lush
bent grass greens and Bermuda fairways, with eight water
holes, sand and grass bunkers, and tees for all levels
of play, Pointe Royale is a world class golfing
experience. The course is maintained by a professional
staff to a high level of standards. Overall the rolling
fairways and mature trees offer quite a challenge to the
average golfer, so remember, club selection and a good
golf course strategy are a must. Also, watch for many of
the famous stars from the Branson shows that frequently
play the course.
You are also within minutes of several of the other
courses in Branson. Call for golf packages.
Note: Major Renovation Coming
- The Pointe Royale Property Owners have voted to
renovate all of the greens and surrounds. Beginning
July 7, 2008, Pointe Royale Golf Course will be closed
until April, 2009. We look forward to having a new,
mature golf course next spring. Please come play the
Pointe before & after the renovation! |

river-type lake where 80,000 rainbow and brown
trout are released each month from the Shepherd
of the Hills Trout Hatchery just upstream from
Pointe Royale. The portion of Lake Taneycomo
adjacent to Pointe Royale is one of the best
stretches of the lake for fishing and is

Restaurants |
|
There are over 450 restaurants in the Branson area but
here are some of our favorites:
-
If you are looking for good food, a great
atmosphere, and reasonable prices, look across the
street at the Pointe Royale Clubhouse and visit Tony
Z’s 19th Hole. The Friday night Prime
Rib is the Best In Town!
-
Tony Z’s Italian Restaurant is across from Pointe
Royale in Welk Theater Area. Very nice atmosphere
and reasonably priced food.
-
Need a break downtown at Branson Landing, try
Cantina Laredo. Sit on their deck overlooking Lake
Taneycomo and the Foutain at Branson Landing.
Another Landing fun spot is Waxy O’Shea’s Irish Pub.
-
The Farmhouse in historic downtown Branson is a
great place for breakfast as is Cracker Barrel.
During the spring, summer, and fall months try the
Table Rock Inn Hwy.165 about 2 miles east after
crossing the dam. (Watch the hummingbirds fight when
you sit in the non-smoking area.
-
Thinking Mediterranean…think Zoe’s on Hwy 265 about
3 miles north of the Chateau on the Lake. Higher
prices but absolutely great food!
-
For a decadent Sunday Brunch buffet, you need to
drive the 9 miles to Big Cedar Resort and the Wormer
House. Pricey and you will need reservations, but
you will be awe struck at the building, resort,
view, and especially the food!
-
PIZZA! Best pizza that we have ever had. Audi’s in
historic Hollister. They are closed on Sunday and
Monday and they don’t
take credit cards, but the pizza is the best!
-
Good Happy Hour and good appetizers…go to The
Outback Pub on Hwy. 76. Have fun and play the TV
Buzz Time trivia game.
